Emotion Skill Board Game
Pomenia's Fairy Tale Adventure board game is the perfect choice for family fun! The game features a rotating game board, offering two different games: a day game and a night game. The day game encourages the development of motor skills, emotional skills, and social skills through play and movement. The night game, on the other hand, calms and offers quiet tasks that help young players relax and prepare for bedtime.

Every child knows and wants to play in their own way, as long as they have the opportunity. Adults can provide the possibilities for play and create a playful atmosphere. That’s why we made this board game!
“The magical world of Pomenia is in danger, as the Dark Sorcerer, Spite McGnarly, wants to stop the collection of magic dust and maintain eternal winter. Spite has captured Sinopia the Surly Fairy and hidden the Pomenians’ magical items. Without the magical items, the fairy cannot be rescued, and Pomenia fades and withers. Now, courage, perseverance, teamwork, and new magical powers are needed!”
The family adventure game features a reversible game board that includes two different games: a day and a night game. During the game, players learn important magical powers such as emotional skills and calming techniques, without forgetting play and movement!
The game was created and illustrated by Petronella Grahn. The activity card tasks were designed by Heli Mäkelä and Anu Lustig-Lonka.

Each emotion adventure card comes with an engaging little story and a task designed to guide you through these emotions.
The cards are created and illustrated by Petronella Grahn, with activities developed by occupational therapist, mindfulness instructor, and emotional skills coach Heli Mäkelä.

Pomenia’s fairytale yoga cards are a delightful way to experience the joy of movement and the thrill of activity, all wrapped up in enchanting adventure. Each card features a mini fairytale and an associated yoga pose, inviting kids to explore yoga either alone or with a friend. The tales encourage participants to immerse themselves fully in the moment and engage in movement in a new, developmental way. These cards support natural mobility and enhance body awareness.
Created in the spirit of the fantastical world of Pomenia by the fairytale artist Petronella Grahn, these yoga cards are designed by children and youth yoga instructor Anu Lustig-Lonka.
The Pomenia fairytale yoga card pack includes 34 cards, each featuring a story and a related yoga pose. These fun exercises can be done at your own pace in the living room, during muddy outdoor play, with siblings on a forest outing, or even as a party activity at children’s birthday celebrations.

Scarytale the Dragon's Courage Cards
Welcome to the adventure towards courage and bravery with Scarytale the Dragon!
In the Pomenia Courage Cards pack, there are 32 cards, and each card features a mini-tale from Pomenia’s magical world, along with a related activity or reflection. The exercises help discover new and diverse types of courage from within yourself and others. Hip hip hooray! You’ll be amazed at what you can dare to do with a little encouragement and practice. Don’t worry, you surely have the courage.
The tasks on the cards were created and designed in collaboration with TM Tiia Trogen and Petronella Grahn.
The stories on the cards were written by Päivi Tuulikki Koskela and Petronella Grahn.

“In the magical world of Pomenia, the Dark Sorcerer Spite McGnarly woke to a dreadful ruckus of merriment and magic outside. Already in a foul mood (as always), his mood soured even further. – Enough! he exclaimed and decided that the frivolous magic dust gathering and festivities would cease for a day. Stepping out of his cave, he stretched his long fingers, spread his arms wide like a conductor, and cast a spell:
I call the wind, I call the storm! Let chaos reign, let form transform! Disrupt those who gather here, those who to my rest interfere. So that I may finally sleep, over Pomenia’s magical keep!
Having spoken, Spite returned to bed, pulled the covers over his head, and resumed his contented slumber. A ferocious wind took up, blowing across the Flower Meadow and interrupting the collection of magic dust. Oh no! Everything was thrown into disarray! Magic dust bags flew everywhere, and worst of all, even the collection partner and THE FAIRIES were lost. A catastrophe! Help the Pomenians find the lost fairies, the magic dust swirling in the skies, and defeat Spite’s spell.”
