Fairy tale adventure board game
Here’s one of our enchanting favorites! The Fairy Tale Adventure board game is a fun and developmental activity for family bonding moments. Every child can and wants to play in their own way, as long as they have the opportunity. Adults can provide play opportunities and create a playful atmosphere. That’s why we made this board game!
“The magical world of Pomenia is in danger, as the Dark Wizard Käämä wants to prevent the collection of magic dust and maintain eternal winter. Käämä has captured the fairy Ruttu and hidden the magical objects of the Pomenians. Without the magical objects, the fairy cannot be saved, and Pomenia fades and withers. Now courage, perseverance, teamwork, and new magic powers are needed!”
This family-friendly fairy tale adventure game features a reversible game board containing two different games: a daytime game and a nighttime game. During the game, players learn important magic powers for everyone, such as emotional skills and relaxation techniques, not forgetting play and movement!
The game was created and illustrated by Petronella Grahn. The action card tasks were designed by Heli Mäkelä and Anu Lustig-Lonka.

“In the magical world of Pomenia, the Dark Wizard Gloom Grumble woke up to a terrible racket and revelry coming from outside. He was already in a bad mood (as always), but now he was even worse.
- Argh! Enough already! he exclaimed and decided that all this nonsense of collecting magic dust and revelry should come to an end for one day. So he stepped out of his cave, stretched his long fingers, spread his hands like a conductor, and chanted:
Summon the wind, summon the storm! Stir everything up in a whirlwind! Blow into disarray those collectors, who do not give me peace. So that I can finally sleep, in the land of Pomenia!
Having said that, Gloom Grumble marched back to his bed, pulled the blanket over his head, and continued his dreams contentedly. A tremendous storm wind gathered momentum and blew into the Flower Meadow, interrupting the collection of magic dust. Oh no! Everything went haywire! The magic dust bags flew here and there helter-skelter, and what a mess, even his own collection buddy and THE FAIRIES were lost. Catastrophe! Help the Pomenians find the lost fairies, the magic dust in the sky winds, and defeat Gloom Grumble’s spell.”

Fairytale yoga cards
Hee-hee-hee! Can you hear that giggling too? It’s the trolls Teo and Tiitu Tanglehair doing fairy yoga with their friends. Come join us!
Pomenia’s fairy yoga cards offer plenty of fun exercise and activity while keeping the spirit of fairy adventures alive. Each card contains a short fairy tale and a related movement example to try out fairy yoga. Fairy yoga can be done independently or with a friend. The stories encourage immersing oneself in the moment and moving in a new, developmental way. The cards help maintain natural mobility and strengthen body awareness.
The Pomenia fairy yoga cards are based on the world of Pomenia created by the fairy artist Petronella Grahn. The exercises on the cards are designed by children’s and youth yoga instructor Anu Lustig-Lonka.
The Pomenia fairy yoga card pack includes 34 cards, each featuring a short fairy tale and a corresponding fairy yoga movement. You can enjoy the fun exercises at your own pace, in your own living room, during outdoor play with your rain boots on, on a forest hike with siblings, or even as part of the program at children’s birthday parties.

In the courage card pack of Pomenia, there are 32 cards, each containing a short story from the magical world of Pomenia along with a related task or reflection. These exercises help to discover various forms of courage within yourself and others. Hooray! With a little encouragement and practice, you can dare to do so many things. You’ll surely be surprised! And don’t worry, you’ve got this.
The tasks on the cards are created and designed in collaboration with TM Tiia Trogen and Petronella Grahn.
